What to see in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques
Small villages and the Basque coast
If you want to relax in beautiful surroundings, don’t look too far! The neighbouring Basque Country, just an hour away from the campsite in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, will delight you with its wild landscapes bathed in sunshine and the breathtaking mountains of the Pyrenees.
Discover the typical small villages of the Basque coast such as Bidart, Guéthary and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, relax on the beaches and dive into the generous and powerful waves.
Don’t forget the hinterland either, especially five Basque villages that we love, four of which are classified as “Most Beautiful Villages in France”: Ainhoa, Sare, La Bastide-Clairence and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Ready for a walk?
